Mr. Mike Blade - Color Guard Director

Mr. Mike Blade has been the Color Guard Director at Marcus High School since 2001. His previous teaching opportunities in Texas include The Colony High School from 2000-2003 and Southwest High School 2004-Present.

Mr. Blade has over 10 years of color guard experience. During this time, he has taught many groups from across the country. In addition, he is a proud alumnus of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps, Sundowners Winter Guard and Every-Body Winter Guard.

2001 The Colony Visual Performance Ensemble-NTCA Scholastic A-Class Silver Medalist

2002 Marcus High School Winter Guard-NTCA Scholastic AAA-Class Bronze Medalist

2004 Marcus High School Winter Guard-NTCA Scholastic A-Class Bronze Medalist

This coming summer Mr. Blade will be on the color guard staff with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps.
